huge banana skin of matches, the three home games in a row at Wembley, against Watford, Newcastle and Leicester, and come out the other side with maximum points, how good is that?
There was always the big chance, without Kane and Dele that points could be dropped, City have recently lost to both Newcastle and Leicester, so there was a high probability that Spurs could have gone the same way. Not without any scares, all three matches could have gone either way if the truth be told, but fair play to Spurs they hung on in, and won all three games.
They are being seriously underrated in the Prem this season, still all the talk about City and Liverpool, despite Spurs if they win the game in hand over City being just two points behind, and would have won the same amount of games. Good to still be under the radar, and the players must know if they can go and get wins at both their rivals, then they can still be champions against all the odds, season 2018/19. You have to hand it to this squad of players, not the greatest team in the world, but they know how to dig out results.
On to Borussia midweek now, be interesting to see what team the manager puts out, given he is not exactly a cup manager. Surely has to be strongest possible, but you never know with Poch, he is liable to start with Skipp.
Anyway whatever, COYS.
Spurs having now played their three

I agree we are not as good as Liverpool or City and that will show unfortunately when we play them away. But we just got to keep plugging away.

with Kane and Alli back, assuming no more injuries then we can defo beat both in a one off game.

No I don’t think they have mate. Liverpool have been very fortunate with injuries to key players.

Edbo, you wonder where we would be had Spurs invested a bit of money mate. I know I keep banging on about it, but this could of been the difference had we got some extra quality in last summer.

you are so right, it was very important to refresh the squad a great opportunity missed and will haunt us when we loose players at the end of this season

I think we can agree that we are in with a chance of winning the league, numbers don't lie, but the likelihood probably favours City / Pool. Personally, I couldn't care less what the media says but whatever we do, it will be with deep pockets, playing away every week and so on. To me its got a bit of Roy of the Rovers about it.
As for Wednesday Sandy, my lad and I have our tickets and quite frankly, given our next game will be 10 days away, Poch has to play his strongest team, it pretty much picks itself imo.

This season has strangely felt like a negative one for us but yet here we are with our best points haul, sitting comfortably in the top 3 with a shot at the title.Let's not forget that we managed to to qualify from the Champs league group stages against the odds!
We have to play 4 of the top 5 in the run-in but it's nice to have things in our own hands for once.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I see what you're saying, but it only feels negative if you let it feel that way.
Most fans would say the 16/17 season was the best in recent history. If you judge everything in proper context, arguably we are having a better season than 16/17 when we came 2nd and finished with 86 points. That season we dropped out of the CL Groups and went out in the last 32 of the Europa. The least we'll get this time is last 16 of the CL.
We were also, from my memory, never this close to Chelsea in the chase for the title as we are to Pool/City now. After 26 games in 16/17, we'd won 15 games with 53 points. This season we've won 20 games with 60 points.
Having not spent a penny in the summer and January, and playing at Wembley instead of WHL, we're actually having quite an incredible season I'd say.

Ah Don, Donald, Donny Don Don - I see you are very still not correctly speaking our English. If you are liking it will please me to be giving you the phone numbers of my old teaching English man. Just be thinking, one day we can all be speaking like being proper English peoples.

I have my ticket as well, I have fully recovered from my man flu, and shall be in attendance in Club Wembley.

We should play Wanyama instead of Skipp or Lamela if he’s fit. Skipp had a dreadful game yesterday. The young lad still too inexperienced at this level.
Makes us appreciate Winks and how far he’s come as a player
Sandy, don’t you think it’s about time you vacated your season seat and let young people have it, ye old coot?

Agree that Skipp is nowhere near ready yet. Offers nothing.
