Scottish cup draw

Hard ties all round by the looks of things.

Celtic away to Hibernian, a few days after we play Hearts at Tynecastle, that could very well be a season defining week.

Rangers or Killie away to Aberdeen. Another tough game for whenever progresses from that one to face Aberdeen.

Worth noting that one of our ties will likely be 5.15pm on a Saturday, absolute carnage beckons for whatever one that is, especially with it being a 20% allocation for away supporters so Celtic will get the full stand behind the goal and Rangers or Killie will get a lot more than that wee corner at Pittodrie.

Other ties include Dundee United v Ross County or ICT and Partick Thistle v Hearts.

There’s a real incentive for the teams in those ties given the other 2 fixtures that will knock out 2 premiership teams, potentially one or both OF clubs.

The next 3 weeks feel absolutely crucial for us, the priority is the league and then for me it’s the Scottish cup and then Europe, that said I want to keep the momentum going and a pumpin from Valencia could knock our confidence.

Anyway, looking forward to it

The figures and information you need are all available to you Tully.

They’ve made some poor decisions over the years, but overall have done well. But, I would never be blasé or casual about just letting them get on with it and trusting every move they make.

Who watches the watchmen?

I think you're right, 'overall they've done well'. Obviously they have made mistakes, but systematically they have been good for the Club and, as other posters have said , we are doing well, on and off the field.
When Rangers disappeared from the Premier League I was sceptical when Lawwell announced 'we have a financial plan that doesn't involve Rangers', but, there has been growth every year, and success every year.

Like the other fans the Board want 10inar, but I don't think they would put the Club at risk, or engage in Del Boy tax-evasion scams to achieve that.

So, on their record, I'm happy to trust them.

I wouldn’t be as trusting then Tully.

And I include both managers and players in that. Things can change very quickly.

Tully-you know they’re not being totally honest with us, don’t you?

When they-and I mean Lawwell in particular-said a few season ago that they don’t budget for money from competing in Europe-you know that’s clearly not true? The figures back that up.

Each to their own I suppose. The board deserve a lot of credit for having a company achieve the numbers they have, whilst having a club having the success that we’ve enjoyed.

They deserve praise for certain aspects, and criticism for others. But trust is something that I’m not sure I’d ever fully hand over.

Zach & Ginger you misunderstand me.

I agree that it's not sustainable.

But those who demand/expect CL every season may not.

I've been persistently arguing for sustainability on here for years.

Got some flak for it as well at T Window time as well.
