Welcome to the Matchday Thread and the visit of Swansea to Our Hallowed ground will Daniel James play ??
pretty hectic fixture list just now so hoping the Team can get their momentum back

Venue...Elland Road...Date... 13th Feb... Kick Off 1945hrs

Team News
Leeds United
Adam Forshaw is injured and won’t be ready for the game. The only change from the 1-1 draw against Middlesborough is Pablo Hernandez coming in for Jack Clarke.
Phil Hay, senior reporter from the Yorkshire Evening Post, quoted Bielsa from his pre-match press conference on Tuesday lunchtime.
Interestingly other sources are stating Izzy Brown to feature.

Not found a lot of team news yet, apart from this...…….McBurnie came off the bench to play the last 20 minutes against Millwall at the weekend but found it ‘tough’ so Potter will have to wait before confirming his starting XI. and of course the decision as to whether to play James after the transfer fiasco .

Match Facts
Leeds have won their last nine home matches against Swansea in all competitions, with this their first meeting at Elland Road since September 2010.
Swansea have only won once away from home at Leeds in all competitions (D3 L15), a 2-1 win in September 1949.
Leeds have lost two of their last three league games at Elland Road (W1), one more than in their previous 16 combined (W11 D4 L1).
Swansea have lost nine of their last 10 league matches played on Wednesday, winning the other away at Arsenal in March 2016 under Francesco Guidolin.
Three of Leeds' last five Championship goals have been scored in the 90th minute - as many as their previous 71 goals at Elland Road, stretching back to December 2016.
Swansea have won just two of their last 13 away league visits to Yorkshire (D3 L8), losing their last two against Rotherham and Hull.

So, after the 2-2 draw in the game at Swansea can we improve on that ? Leeds looking a little jaded recently but still have that never say die attitude (proof if needed look at that goal against Boro ) I'd love to see us score first for a change though, I'm going for a 2-1 Win to start a bit of a run going , with Bamford and Roofey sharing the goals, (let me be right for once )

mike, few more twists and turns yet, but right now my bet for us to champions is alive and well!

Do you lay money on that bet at beginning of season Jonty? If yes, bloody smart of you.

Batty, put it on at end of august at 7/2.

Not a big gambler, but we were on fire then!

Being top just shows the value of KPs goal at Boro as well, every game is massive now

Ayling had a good game overall, BUT there's always a clumsy daft challenge in him. The player was going absolutely nowhere yet he has a daft lunge at him and gives away a penalty. We were so in control of that game and yet my nerves are shot at the end thanks to Luke!
