Gordon Banks ,my first memory

Lots of Gordon Banks stories in the media today, so for what it's worth here is mine.
The first time I saw him play, was in a 5th round FA Cup tie at Maine Road , Man City v Leicester in 1966. City were Div 2 and Leicester Div 1.
Joe Mercer's and my first season with City .
Leicester were 2 up at half time.
In the 2nd half Neil Young hit a shot which rolled up Banks' body and arm and in to the net.
Young then also scored an equaliser. City won the replay 1-0 with another goal by Young. I suppose you could say Neil scored a 5th round hat trick against Banks.
The point of the story is that with all the great saves he made including THAT save, my first memory was of a total goal keeping rick..possibly a collector's item.
RIP

Never saw him play but remember my bowels loosening when I saw the Pele save.

I saw him at Maine Road just after he had recovered from his car accident.

City fans gave him a huge ovation which wasn’t the norm in those days
