No real pain or suffering there. We were due a defeat and even though PSG missed a couple of top players they are a very savvy and battle hardened side with lots of dangerous players as well as a guy in Thiago Silva who knows how to defend in these types of games all day long.
The CL isn’t quite our goal right now - we’re a good 3/4 seasons away from that - our immediate goals are the Fa cup and top 4 so we can attract the types of players who get us past these types of games.
Herrera and Matic were somewhat decent but the rest had shockers. Martial was awful and somehow Sanchez found a way to be worse 😂
Pogba still needs to sort his mentality in these big games.
Ah well, for me the next few games define Ole’s reign and will decide if he deserves the job or not

We faired well until we lost our wingers, and any threat going forward.
PSG knew they could attack with no consequences. Mata and Sanchez simply don't work in this setup.

So them having 2 more shots than us means its men against boys. The first goal was a Matic error. 2nd goal Bailly would easily have got to it if he kept running. 2 major errors cost us 2 goals. Its not like they couldn't have got there. They stopped for no reason thinking De Gea would get it.

They scored from a player that should have been sent off with there 2nd shot on target after there 1st led to the corner.
