Mkhi was not suited to our system at all.

1 year on though - if it's a choice between him and Alexis I'd probably go for Mkhi. Just.

Didn't you get the memo? It clearly said to gas/hype up Sanchez so that we can off load him to any mug that would buy him.

The initial plan was to butter him up for Man City… but they were too clever for that. But as the saying goes with suckas, "there's one born every minute"…. along came UTD who thought that they'd made off with the Crown Jewels. That'll serve them right for Van Pagan. LOL.

He'd fit in well now i reckon where Lingard is cos you got Rashford up top so would give him more space with the defence dropping deeper

Alexis would slot in nicely to Unai's interchangeable 3 up top

Not sure what's gone wrong with him at United.

Can't decide who fell off the bigger cliff playing wise, Rooney or Sanchez? Both went from world class to dross seemingly overnight.

Sanchez. At least Rooney had/has off the pitch drama to blame. Sanchez was all bout da ballin. Til he just had to go run his mouth. Cursed by his own gob. I can see him not figuring a great deal in OGS's plans too. Man learnt from SAF, somehow I don't see him being prepared to deal with any gobshyte player, no matter what skills he's got. Personally I'm happy to see Rashford shining at Alexis' expense.
