Ole " Alexis needs to find himself "

I was waiting for the punchline "another club" but it never came.

But seriously how much longer can we afford to wait for this guy to resemble a half decent player let alone his best form at Arsenal? He's done a Rooney and fell off a cliff ability wise seemingly overnight. Is there any way back for him? I doubt it. He just isn't the same player anymore.

He's been such a huge let down for us. Not even this new attacking football under Ole has got him going. Still looks like he can't hold onto the ball or find a pass to save his life.

We are obviously very limited to who we can sell to now because of that ridiculous wage (Well done Ed) However he can go to China and earn less per week but still take home more because of their tax laws over there. We really need to get him off the books and quick. You cant be paying someone that much money for such little output. Part of me thinks is he may want out anyway. He doesn't look like he's settled well at all up here and even rumours that he misses his life in London already.

Get rid or give him another season? What do we all think?

We will suffer for a few years yet thanks to the previous regimes transfer policies.

Wonder if we can buy Sancho while loaning one or two of prized academy starlets to them and see if they are of any use to them. Could be a win win situation?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, we can't.

We won't be buying Sancho this summer. People need to get that idea out of their heads, because it's absolutely textbook unachievable (and undesirable) fantasy football stuff.

Let's say you are the President of Dortmund and United come knocking. What kind of fee do you demand for him with four years left on his contract?

£150-200 million?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I'd probably start at EUR150m. (Which will probably look like £150m by this summer, the way things are going.) We know you've got the cash, show us you want the player.

Why, oh why, would they sell? They've got absolutely no incentive to, particularly if they are already boosting their commercial, matchday and prize money revenue this season.

Even if they do, he's looking like the star player in a side that's going to win the Bundesliga.

He's got 16 goals and assists in 14 starts, has scored and assisted in the CL, and has an unbelievable four MOTM awards in his last ten games.

If he continues as he's started, he's in the running for Bundesliga POTY.

He's also 18 years old and has got four years on his contract and no release clause.

If he goes this summer, and I don't think he will, because Dortmund will want to do all they can to keep him (he's already had a massive pay rise) and would want to absolutely rinse to high heaven anyone who might be in for him, it'll be for an absolutely astronomical sum.

Yeah it’d take silly money, doesn’t mean they wouldn’t sell if the right offer came in. I think it’ll be down to the player more than anything why he’ll still be there next season. He seems pretty level headed and wants to decelop as a player and staying with Dortmund makes the most sense right now.
