One will naturally lead to the other you know

I don’t even bother watching MOTD for Spurs highlights. Just google Spurs vs who we were playing + score line and get the highlights from some foreign website and watch their 5-10 mins video.
When I lived at my folks I used to record the match highlights via Sky. Don’t know if they still do that or not but they would more or less show every game from 3pm schedule from 6pm onwards.

Tell you one thing I’d never watch our highlights if we lost. Never ever.
