The Run-In

Heading in to the last dozen games of the season, but not before a well deserved week off from matches.

This buys us a bit of time to get the injured back. Word is that Kane will play a part of the next game (Burnley, away). The only other injured are Davies & Alli. Both are thought to be a week behind Kane in their rehab.

Feb:
23rd - Burnley (a)
27th - Chelsea (a)

I'm not a fan of long breaks in the season. Seems we lose a bit of sharpness, but Burnley will have had 2 weeks without a game. Theyre the form team in the bottom half, unbeaten in 5.

Chelsea - funnily enough while we have no games, they play Utd Monday, and Malmo Thursday. Then Carabao final on the Sunday. Ouch!

March:
2nd - Arsenal (h)
5th - B Dortmund (a)
9th - Saints (a)
17th - Palace (h) (Possibly postponed if Palace in FA Cup. Could be brought forward to 12th Mar)
***INTERNATIONAL BREAK***
31 - Liverpool (a)

Little bit of pressure off the UCL 2nd leg, which means we can probably go full tilt in the NLD.

A very busy month considering there's also a week break. Good that the international break will disrupt Liverpool as much as us. Could easily be a make or break game for both of us by then!

April:
6th - Brighton (h) Could be first game at new WHL - Also possible FA Semi for Brighton.
9/10th - Possible UCL Quarter Final 1st Leg
13th Huddlesfield (h)
16th/17th - Possible UCL Quarter Final 2nd Leg
20th - Man City (a)
27th - West Ham (h)

Only one away game at City and a possible UCL QF. I think by this stage of the season, we will know which basket we are putting our eggs in - League or UCL. May be both

May:
2nd - Possible UCL Semi-final 1st leg
4th - Bournemouth (a)
9th - Possible UCL Semi-final 1st leg
12th - Everton (h)

Couldnt really ask for a more gentle end to the league season. 2 mid table teams with little to play for. SO if we have made the UCL semi, the league fixtures will help

COYS!

Not a bad set of games tbh.

Playing Chelsea with a days more rest after hopefully they’ve had the run around by city should give us a nice advantage especially with Kane and dele back hopefully.

All we need to do is win all our games and hoe Liverpool slip up then the league is ours

Champions League and League double

Chelsea is a huge game. They'll be bang up for it and if they win can wrongly claim again that they stopped us from winning the league.

Glad we’re out of the FA Cup and got a decent rest before big games against Chelsea and Arsenal.

Hopefully Kane starts against Chelsea and Arsenal but hopefully Poch doesn’t play him against Dortmund, just leave him on the bench for it just in case of emergency.

So true, they would love to do that.

Chelsea really wind me up, their players always seem so motivate against us and facking determined (excluding Wembley earlier in the season)

I think it works well for us. Burnley after a 10 day rest, followed by Chelsea, when we have and extra day rest and they will have played 3 big games. Think it will catch up with them a bit and Sarri rarely makes any changes to his team. We'll be our usual patient self, ride the storm and then take advantage

??? surely you cannot be suggesting that we should have rested players if the dortmund tie was closer. arsenal away = full strength team

Well you know what Poch is like....uses his squad all the time, makes some surprising choices at times.
