Our RB / RWB is renowned for his delivery, the ability to put in a quality cross. It's basically why he makes the team as his defending is sub standard
How come I have seen more decent crosses this season from Vertonghen, in one game as stand in LWB, than i have seen from 'Trips'
Aurier is worth persisting with. He played well vs Dortmund and although a bit rash, i still do not think he's been given enough time. At £23m we also need to get some value out of the guy.
The Peter Principle applies to Trippier. This is basically a capable person who is promoted until the point of incompetence. He has been promoted as first choice post-Walker, and Spurs have also progressed as a team. Consequently he is out of his depth and not of sufficient quality.
At £3.5m we'd probably easily get £10m-£15m profit on an England international to boost our coffers this summer.
I would also say that i really do not think KWP has what it takes. He's ok, but he lacks the level of athleticism that TAA at LFC has, for example. Seen him physically bullied a few times. May be good third choice but would take +£10m if we could get him.
RB a key position to fill this summer !

I’d get rid of Trippier too, had numerous chances but hasn’t made a huge impression. Aurier and KWP are no worse in my opinion but haven’t been given the same number of opportunities.

While I was the original trippier not good enough but he’s better than Aurier.

I’m with Henge. Trippier has had a poor season, but he’s better than Aurier in my opinion. Aurier I was excited about, but he’s been pretty atrocious and is brainless at times. Great ball for Vertonghen’s goal, but he doesn’t do that enough where as at least Trips can’t get a decent delivery in. Would sell Aurier and keep Trips as 2nd choice, but try and get a top class Right back.

Not sure I’d bother replacing Toby Tbh.
Sanchez, foyth & Dier have it covered and all at excellent ages.
2 Cms are my priority plus then Eriksen replacement if he goes.
Then we can think about RB and LB

If Eriksen leaves i think we'd need to look at a slightly different approach.
It would be very tough to find like for like replacement. I think we almost need to go with an attacking player behind Kane and 2 very solid players behind that.....I quite like the thought of Isco. I'd also add another CM, strong and more dynamic than (and replacing) Wanyama. A Dacoure sort. NDombele but wed not likley get him. Know little about Anderson as a Toby replacement but someone of that type.
Not sure how likely any of that could be but going as far as possible in the UCL raises our profile further.

We should have a look at Havertz from Leverkusen. Looks quality from what I’ve seen and in our age bracket we like.
Tbh Leverkusen have quite a few good players I’d like.
