Roofe apparently injured

doing rounds on social media. Pic of him in a leg brace someone took, seems legit as he posted a video which you can see the straps from the leg brace.

As bad a Saturday as you can have when you don't play. Our rivals win 10-0 and our top scorer gets 'injured'

That picture is fake news.

No it isn’t, Roofe is probably out for 4 to 8 weeks.

Injured or not, the stupidity of our failure to sign anybody in January will become more and more evident in the run in. Meanwhile, Madine, bagged a couple for the Blades at the weekend.

I got slated for saying we could have signed a striker as cover for a Roofe or Bamford injury. Something about a playstation was branded about

We've got Bamford & Roberts, why do we need another striker?

Roberts was superb when he filled in for Roofe and Bamford is now back needing full match fitness.

& Gary Madine is nowhere near any of our strikers

Mike, Forshaw is incredibly limited in forward areas.
To suggest he could play as a 10 is very naive.

Foreshaw will play as an 8. Not a 10. Klich, Roberts or Pablo will be utilised as a 10

Going to go against the grain a bit and agree with you Shaun.the problem is though there is beefing up your squad to cover all the bases(like this injury) and then actually having the funds to make it happen.

Sadly the cupboard is a little bare and choices had to be made and we put all our eggs in The Daniel James basket.yes though if we had the money other areas could have been looked at.

A viscious circle we need promotion to get more financial muscle so that we can bolster the squad in this way but risk not getting it because we don't have the funds and relying on a small squad with a consistent record of picking up injuries over the season.not a good combination.
