I'm sure Hartson also had Emerson in goal for City, so having 2 goalkeepers gave an unfair advantage to City. Had an extra player upfront as 'Jaysus' was also there as well. No wonder we won.

Jaysus might hit this as he wants an early goal

Just a thought on that , will Ederson be remembered for that save like Gordon Banks is (rightfully) remembered for his .

John Hartson was, I think, the dirtiest player I've ever watched, a master of the flying elbow. What I thought was interesting yesterday is how bollhocks when delivered in a Welsh accent, sounds even more like bollhocks than when it is delivered with a scouse accent. Which is the norm for BT Sport.

My work colleagues and myself were trying to come up with the Dirtiest X1 team which included such luminaries as Kenny Burns, Dave Mackay, Jones, Ferguson, etc, but we couldn't figure out a goalkeeper. Schumacher came to mind but he was German.

Any ideas?

I once watched Toni Schumacher play against Ajax in Amsterdam. Unsurpassed as a murderous psycho fecker. Not so much goalkeeping as gbh.

Yep. Not many put out the need for reconstructive surgery to the forward line.
We were trying to keep the dirty players within the home countries but damned if we could think of a goalie.
