January transfer window

I've watched Killie vs Rangers and I didn't know Davis was playing until about sixty minutes.

Only seen Defoe in one game and he scored a tap in, but also got into dangerous positions.

I'm surprised at the form of these guys as I did genuinely think both would be great signings. Is it still early days for them, or have the fans already decided..?

Davis is probably brilliant for training ground as like Gerard he has played at the top level but will have less of an influence on the pitch. He’ll be great for the young lads

Defoe is another pension striker expecting to score millions in Scotland when they can’t do it in England

I noticed there wasn’t a single booking - a bad sign for a team who should be scrapping for everything. Quite telling.

It was an absolute nothing game yesterday.

No one in the rangers team looked particularly interested and St Johnstone obviously just came to spoil the game.

Not a good combination......😩

Surprising there were no bookings, esp since Murray Davidson was playing.

I tend to only bet on cards rather than results Hamish - follow trends where for example a struggling team picks up a result but there’s a few cards - tends to be their following game is a banker bet as they know to get fired in for a result. Teams near the bottom of a league who lose week in week out with hardly a booking are doomed. Same with challenging teams for titles - 4-2 up at Aberdeen the perfect example.
