Killie 0 v 1 Celtic

Let’s start with the obvious, the performance was dire and Rodgers to come out with nonsense that we were very good is reeking. Just be honest, it was a terrible performance but it means not a jot with the result.

Performance aside, a huge win for us. After the OF game in December I don’t think there can be any arguments that a large portion of Gers fans thought we had a genuine title race and Rangers had a very good chance of winning it. There were even such comments on here, fast forward 7 weeks and we’re now 8 points clear with a +11 goal difference advantage.

There’s no better way to win a game than a last minute winner and on the stroke of 90 minutes, that’s what we got. Listen, the shot itself was going out the stadium but in the end Alex Bruce decided to try give away a pen with a ludicrous save and in the end it went in the net. Scenes, absolute scenes everywhere.

The pitch invasion after it was embarrassing, not so much the guys over the hoardings to greet Brown. But the morons at our side of the stadium who decided to run on the pitch and try take selfies,

There was also the incident of Kris Boyd being struck with the coin, out of order and I hope the moron is banned for life. I don’t mind banter with the likes of Boyd, he always takes it well with a smile but chanting OB and throwing coins at him is knuckle dragging stuff.

Credit where it’s due to Bobby Madden, could have blown for a pen at the goal but allowed the ball to go in. Got the Broadfoot sending off spot on and the only thing I think he got wrong was Brown’s tackle, I think that’s a red card. Also correct in sending Brown off, daft rule but it is the rule.

Fair play to see Weah at the end, that Kant Taylor and then Jones both had nibbles at him after we scored, not to mention the keepers barge on him when he hit the post. Baffling why they tried to noise him up so he had the last laugh.

Make no mistake about it; a draw yesterday would have given Rangers and Aberdeen a huge boost after they both slipped up but that’s just as demoralising to them as it is Killie.

Now a massive game for both teams on Wednesday as whoever loses effectively ends their season of any real success. Although Killie finishing top 4 would be seen as a success for them.

Terrific feeling yesterday, now onto Valencia and Motherwell this week, 2 3-0 wins please

It’s a no contest.

We are too inconsistent and don’t have enough quality strength in depth to compete for the title this season.

It would take a miracle for us now. And that would involve winning both remaining OF games 😂😂

Scouting Michael Hector of Sheffield Wednesday apparently, he's on loan there from Chelsea

Boyata replacement? He played at Reading under Davies too

Wonder if Karakomo Dembele will be on the bench on Sunday.

Old enough to be in the squad as of this week so we may see him on the bench, doubt he'd make an appearance unless we're 3 or 4 up.

Even then, i'd be worried with the opponent being Motherwell and the subsequent hatchet job that would ensue.

I know that Motherwell have a very robust style but they're not the only ones. Will be interesting to see how he gets on between now and the end of the season. I suspect that he'll make the bench in the next few weeks and that Armstrong oko-flex was paving the way for that yesterday.

Anyone seen that video of the ref from Northern Ireland saying "Calm the flook down"

You literally can almost hear the accent even with no sound
