I do think there was a slight ulterior motive to your article and you believe some Liverpool fans were saying there would prefer the CL last season as we were deep into it and had no chance in the league and the possibly they may have changed their position as we're now top of the league.

I think this article has proven this incorrect and the split remains the same, some prefer the CL and some the league.

Klopp isn’t right because there is no ‘right’. He might prefer the league and personally I would too, but someone else preferring the CL is totally justifiable. It’s personal choice, both are massive achievements.

The headline said that he knew that the fans wanted the title that caught my eye, hence the article.

Win. You could get an easier draw and make it so it to the final and only have to win one big game.
There are plenty minnows in the cl it's not only the elite teams competeing.

Not for me. It's harder to win against the best teams in Europe. Ome off day potentially puts you out.

You could win the league without beating your fellow top 5/6 teams. Does it still make it a bigger achievement? In fact, didn’t United Win it with a pretty awful record against top sides???

For every domestic league title handed out every season, there’s only one CL title. Even if you whittle that down to Europe’s top 5 leagues and ignore outliers like Porto, Ajax, etc., you still end up with a hell of a lot more domestic champions than CL champions, so how on earth can the domestic title be harder to win?
