Literally the same side is fine just get the ball up to Vardy quicker and look to get the 3 behind him closer.

What I’m looking for is a 4-4-1-1 with Okazaki in behind Vardy and Morgan back in the side. If we could get Simpson and Fuchs in as well that would be a bonus. The innovative idea I’m looking for us to implement here would be a cunning ploy to draw teams on to us, win back the ball and then quickly play Vardy in - maybe with a lofted ball from midfield

What a great idea. Tielemans would probably be ok to provide the lofted passes.

I wouldn't include Maguire as an old lag. I'd expect to see Kasper and Vardy start, together with Fuchs if Chillers still isn't fit.

I suppose a football reason could be made for including Simpson to have Ricardo in his true position (instead of Ghezzal/Gray), and a somewhat less compelling replacement of Maguire by Morgan to potentially tighten the defence.

If Shinji appears that's decidedly regression.

It's interesting that you've only managed to list 6 of the old guard, shows how much we've already moved on I suppose.

Nuneaton - I think what Nev's pointing out is that we have no proven quality in the midfield.
