Happy with that

First off, not the best game, but I must say the atmosphere at Old Trafford in that second half was brilliant. Best I've witnessed in years. The players as well - great effort from each and every one of them. A few below par performances from the likes of Young, Pogba and Perreria but I cant fault any of them for effort. Rashford in particular deserves huge credit for carrying on like he did.

Got to say though I was seriously unimpressed by Liverpool. If we had a centre forward who could run I think we would've walked away with 3 points today. I think the Firmino injury hurt them but they seemed to lack a bit of bottle out there. Cant help but feel city under those circumstances would've put us to the sword.

For us though, the next few games are crucial. Palace away with the injuries looks very very tricky and we are in danger of losing ground on Arsenal now. Thinking about how we will line up for that one. Probably something like this:

Ddg
Young smalling lindelof* shaw
Mct
Fred pogba
Pereira
Lukaku Sanchez

Wouldn't bank on that team going to Selhurst and winning at all. Lindelof may also be a doubt i fear - saw him double over and hold his knee a couple of times today. Maybe an opportunity for the likes of Chong, Gomes etc too though.

I think we can write off the PSG game - but the Arsenal game in a couple of weeks is absolutely crucial. Desperately hope the likes of Herrera and Matic are back for that one.

Did the best with the resources available on the pitch - good management by Ole and Co.

More concerned now for the coming wednesday away fixture against in-form Palace

Glad this game is out of the way. Man United will always be a tough game.

I think we played for the draw and not to lose.

You are ahead of them and don't have any difficult games left.

They are still in everything.

just think city will pick up more points between now and the end of the season than us, if we'd won today we could afford a draw somewhere but now thatll put city top if we do now

Chelsea and Spurs are hardly six pointers.

Everton away is still a tough game for Liverpool no matter the form guide

Saints away with their new manager will be hard

Spurs and Chelsea at home are tough too.

It’s really not so much about the teams they face on paper - it’s more about how the Liverpool players are doing in their heads regarding pressure. Even the easiest on paper games are ones that Liverpool can draw/lose if a couple of players start choking when it’s squeaky bum time

Liverpool have won 1 game in 5 now. All games are difficult when you're in a title race.

City will win it though. They are just a better team. They'd have taken advantage of us today. Liverpool weren't able to.

More so at squeaky bum time. The white ball comes out soon and that is the time when we see who is really up for it.
