So with the imminent departure of Brendan Rogers, will Steve Clarke be the next one to step into the hotseat?

What I find incredible is that the mere notion that someone cannot be biased-purely because they’re a ref. Especially here in Scotland!
Aye bit can you prove it though?! Fvck sake.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not one person has ever said on here or anywhere else that someone cannot be biased ffs!
Saying it’s been a Protestant conspiracy run by rangers supporting refs for over 100 years is quite another.
It’s f@cking absurd, ridiculous and pathetic.

The whole point is that you can’t prove bias unless the ref is caught telling someone about it.
There’s also zero doubt that refs make mistakes.
The notion of some refereeing cabal that has been diddling Celtic out of points and trophies since the game began and is still doing so is not only ridiculous but offensive and just plain mental.

Bobby tait has been caught telling people about it. I've actually seen his 'act' myself at a Forth Wanderers poty do. He has actually told thousands of people about it. that doesn't count of course.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh well I suppose if you put it that way that just blows all arguments out the water eh?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry...you said that you can't proves bias unless someone gets caught telling people about it.
I'm giving you an example of someone who talks endlessly about it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that’s just spiffy.
Proves heehaw.

Sherbet said: ‘Na I believe a ref can support a team and not be biased towrds that team. I believe that Conroy would have been impartial in celtic games, much like I think that the celtic supporting refs of nowadays are also not biased towards celtic.’
I’ve not mentioned a conspiracy. But if we’re now accepting that someone-irrespective of the fact that they’re a referee-then at least we’re getting somewhere.

In fact that’s me out. I’m bored schitless of this circular argument.

So, unless we can prove something, then it’s to be ignored?! I suppose it’s one way to deal with it.
I’m sure there was a time when no one would have considered that the chief exec of the SFA would have actively worked to the detriment of one team, yet we had Jim Farry. Bias? No idea. Incompetence? It certainly wasn’t. And that’s the chief executive!
I don’t know why it’s offensive or ridiculous. Might be a long shot, but that’s about it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then what is to be ignored?
Officials from all clubs attended a meeting with our top referees recently. It’s findings are secret. I’m pretty sure if Celtic as a club had any suspicions of bias then this would’ve been the time to say something surely?
And I think guys like Lawwell and Reid would’ve been able to have done something about it.
The whole question of “what if there was a chance that a significant number of our top referees are in cahoots to ensure that Rangers win and Celtic lose” is just plain mental, ridiculous and unprovable.

You set out a standard of proof. I met that standard.
Was your standard wrong in the first place or did you just change your mind.

I know, fancy a referee giving a penalty when a defender commits a foul in the box...whatever next
