A lively Sunday afternoon at Celtic Park yesterday.
What was turning out to be a routine win, descended into chaos after Jason Scott decided to use the worst form of cheating to help Motherwell back into the game.
First half was a decent performance and considering we made 5 changes to the starting 11, a sign of where we are as a squad now that we can make that many changes and see it through.
First goal is a terrific move, started by the impressive Bitton and then onto KT who ran the best part of 60 yards before cutting it back to Christie who sent in a delightful cross and it’s a very good finish from Sinclair.
2nd goal was pleasing for 2 aspects for me, no dilly dallying on the ball, one touch out of Henderson’s feet and whipped in. Then eddy’s movement, I’ve been screaming for more of that from him, get in front of the defender and run across the face of goal, terrific header and it should have been game, set and match.
Then that happened and it still beggars belief that he’s done it. Sums up that club under Robinson and the thug Lasley, sk^mbags.
We lost the head a little after that as expected but it was good to see us trying to send a few of them off the park injured, no prisoners, clean right through their legs, pleasing.
After it settled down we started to create chances again and Eddy’s run to win the free kick is superb in itself but what a hit from that free kick, what a hit son
A 4th was added by Burke and that’s the best technique I’ve seen from that Kant since he signed, more of that please.
Man of the match for me would be Eddy or Henderson, both very good all day and for 18 years of age, Henderson’s maturity is something else
With Rangers scoring 5, it wasn’t just important to win the game, to win by 3 goals ensures we’re still 9 clear in the goal difference which still counts as another point almost as it stands.
Now it’s onto the biggie’s this week, Hearts on Wednesday and I can’t wait for it. We have more than a few injuries with McGregor and Christie likely to be missing to add too Benkovic and Ntcham.

Burke
He may stick with young Henderson but I’d prefer we played Bitton and stuck eddy up top in behind Burke. Need a presence up top and someone also to turn and run at the Hearts defence.

I have no recollection....no offence btw...I have be recollection of anything apart from passing myself off as the Bishop of Motherwell to a mother and daughter combo I met in a pub. No flucking idea why I did that.
