I honestly expected more from Utd. I mean I was firmly in the boat of them parking the bus because that's what they did against Spurs & Arsenal but then they played PSG and tried a pressing system.
I think the worst thing for us was PSG humbling them. That was their wake up call, which is a shame as I really wanted us to be the ones humbling them.
Just another reason to hate Neymar I guess.

Shame really as it’s one of the better boards.

The reality for LFC is
a) Utd picked a poor team at the outset, they put in lukaku.
b) Utd picked up 3 unrelated injuries and subs on one guy who was already injured.
c) Utd played with 10.5men with luaku at right wing tracking back so it was more like 9.5men.
d) LFc played safe too much and really bottled it a bit.
Utd were there fore the taking and we never got going, windy won't pass it. he holds ball til closed down. henderson just wanted to get rid anwhere he could and never turned on ball. everything went right towards milner. We cut off robertson completely.
any time you see klopp beating his chest like a gorilla you know lfc are actively bottling it and have just gone into shells. he's done this several games in a row now. puff out the chest and beats it like that means something. I think he'd be better actually telling them to get on the ball and want it and influence game

Some really odd comments from Liverpool fans since the game.
We were 11 points behind 4th when Ole took-over, we don't have the depth in the squad to play all out attacking football and after 20 minutes we had lost 5 of our starting front 6.
It's a testament to how far Ole has brought us in such a short space of time really.
We know we aren't a top team at the moment and there is a lot of work to be done this summer.
Liverpool should be focusing on how they couldn't muster any chances of note against an injury-ravaged side who have been well below par for the last few years, not blaming the tactics of the team they are playing.
The best teams find a way to win in all situations, always makes me laugh when people say 'you're not making it easy for us'
Were we happy after yesterday? Probably yeah, because if we'd be playing a team like Barcelona, Real Madrid etc.. they would have put us away after us losing 50% of our starting 11 and playing with only 10 fit players on the pitch.

I agree to a degree about ole, but it could equally be said that Jose was actually really poor and ole has just brought the team up to where you would expect them to be - especially considering the resources at their disposal.
Also your point about the best teams doesn't stand up to any scrutiny. The best teams don't find a way to win in all situations - if they did them they would never drop points. The best teams all lose games over the season.

By far the worst performance for Liverpool this season imo
Keeping the ball and not knowing what to do with it. With all our mounting injuries you seem very nervous ...more as you normally are at OT
1 shot on target says it all
You were not great either at hone against Bayern
You need to get going before it is too late

Yesterday pre-game they showed the League table during Ole's period in charge. United were top by 4 points with a game in hand...
Even the most devoted United fan wouldn't expect this team to be a runaway leader over 10 games, so I think saying that Ole has brought us to where we should expect to be is a bit unfair given that we have spent poorly. Prior to Ole taking over, I don't think any Liverpool/Chelsea.Arsenal/City or Spurs fan would've put any of our players other than De Gea in their XI's.

Maybe you're right, but how much of that attitude about best elevens was based around the fact that United were doing so badly. Realistically if a team is down in 7th Why would the fans of teams above think they had better players?
In reality, United have spent almost as much on their current squad as city. You can certainly make the argument that they haven't spent it as well, but with that kind of spending you would expect them to be finishing top 3 or higher. Mourinho has to take the blame for that.
