Hi Liverpool fans. United fan in peace.
Seen a lot of comments on both boards and just wanted to get your real opinions of the game yesterday and share mine.
United have relied heavily on 7 outfield players since Ole came in. Rashford, Lingard, Martial, Herrera, Pogba, Matic and Lindelof.
In yesterday's game, we were without 2 of these, and then lost another 2 to injury (well 3 as Rashford had to play on and could hardly run). So all in all, after 30 minutes it seemed our fate was settled and we'd be blown away. But It never happened.
Liverpool didn't really see to create any clear cut chances. Playing against a team with 4 first team regulars and essentially down to 10 men, they seemed to stick to a long ball strategy which didn't work. The 2 best chances in the game were both United's, being the Lingard chance and when Smalling nearly won it at the death. Add to that the debatable offside own goal.
Im interested to know if any Liverpool fans saw it the same or do you have a different take on events?

Yeah the whole pub, included those not watching the game, the people working the bar and the little blind man in the corner knew it was offside and as if they were in sync with each other, all at the same time erupted into spontaneous applause, where there was much rejoicing.

With the way Liverpool played, even though we had 4 injuries and had to keep one on I was disappointed with a draw. We should have beaten them. If only Smalling made that stretch, we'd have won.

That’s in your article, stupid. So obviously you’re doubting whether it was offside, and you’re pretty much the only person on here doing so.

Nope. They were debating it on TV after the game. Therefore called it debatable. Some might agree. Some might not. I said I thought it was offside in the comments.
