I have thought about this a lot since the game yesterday, result aside what an absolute lack of class and show of disrespect from Liverpool fans yesterday during Eric Harrison’s minute of applause.
For what he did for United and the English game was monumental, and it showed a complete lack of class from the travelling fans. Football is more than rivalry, just as united fans show respect for the 96 and the Bradford fires and Emiliano Sala, the list goes on. This was no different and thought it was really disappointing to see

It was a real shame, a great bloke who did so much for the game and it was a nice opportunity for the fans to show their appreciation.
Why would fans want to ruin that? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Yeah thought it was disgusting. Never seen fans do that during a minutes silence or applause, couldn't quite believe it.
Our lot were singing "the sun way right, you're murders".
So can't really point to one set of fans.

That was in response to another chant. Liverpool fans singing during the applause was met with boos from the Utd end.
I mean come on, who does that? And it was the majority of the Liverpool end.

It wasn’t a minority who were chanting, seemed like the vast majority.
Not sure if there was bad intentions, they were chanting Liverpool songs after all. It’s more ignorance than anything.
