Firstly I'm behind Frankie 100, first season in charge of a team, learning the trade, I think we should enjoy the run in but I do hope and think we can find some balance.
That said though as a fan I like to rant and here's mine.
Play Huddz look decent to competitive. Don't play him and we look absolute and utter w@nk. Like a sexually frustrated 15 yo who's just been given a month's subscription to Pjorn Hub, w@nk.
He may not be the future, he may not be 100 in the athletic department but even when he's getting crowded out like he was tonight by mediocre footballers he's still our only chance of actually playing anything approaching football. Keep him on and wait for the defence to tire and then maybe the last 10 minutes we'll have something better than that god awful kick and rush 5hite we've been subjected to the last four flukeing games.
Movement, please, please, please coach these players how to move off the ball
a) with Huddz playing
and
b) without Huddz playing.
It's embarrassing.
Connectivity. That 3 at the back BS we try to play looks utterly clueless.
a) what are we trying to achieve
and
b) how are trying to achieve it?
To the uneducated football fan it looks like we're playing football by numbers. Lets put as many attacking players in advanced positions as we can and hope that somehow the law of averages will be in our favour. We don't have physical players to compete for the kick and rush, we don't have aggressive players to compete for the second ball, we don't have intelligent players to isolate and overload opposition players and currently we don't have forward players that can pass successfully in a forward motion to a player in the same flukeing shirt.
We need to connect.
Identity: What kind of team are we. Beginning of the season I thought we were trying to move towards a full speed, high octane, Klopp-esque high up the pitch pressing side since then we have moved through the gears and at the moment seem to be resembling Stuart Pearce at Forest.
What's the identity and how do we try and move towards it.
Balance: I was actually quite positive half time, I thought we were showing signs of creeping back into it, King was showing some off the ball movement lacking in the last 3 or 4 games, Holmes was attempting a 5-10 yard passing game. Marriott was looking a little quicker.
Patience: FL seems to be too urgent, I think as Forest's huff and puff tired Huddz would have got more of the ball, sometimes I think 4-3-3 can still be the Plan B and given what we've seen when we try something different I think it should be. Against Lambert, Hughton and Harris he was outcoached but I think today he gave the game to Forest. Yes he got unlucky with King's injury and I hope to god it's not bad.
I just think play Huddz, keep it 4-3-3 it's not ideal but it's the best we have. Keogh n Tomori are looking good, lets make space for Huddz and tweak the balance ahead of him as opposed to panicking.
I still think we could ride this wave into the playoffs. Just get back to basics and put more emphasis on balance and connectivity than haste and lots of players running round like the offspring of a drunken awgee between Craig Bryson and a few minions.
Frank's the man, I support him, get behind him and the lads, but deep breaths fella and relax. Sometimes it's like pouring a decent cask ale, slow and smooth, easy does it.
#Huddzoclock
Bit of a rant.

I cant believe what I'm reading Bush!
Although one post did mention "a fit CM" as being the answer to our problems. When was CM ever really fit?
On the main thread, though, we do miss Mount for his vision and also, not mentioned yet, Lawrence for his running at defenders.
But, having watched last nights game twice, the one word that summed it up was "lethargic".
Oh - and ... We got outrun and outfought by a midfield of ginger dwarfs FFS!

Obviously CM was useless, all he used to do was bring midfielders in to play, score goals and defend set pieces.
I am really reading the rubbish from the usual suspects.

Well said Spart, CM is a better bet than Waghorn and Marriott. We certainly miss him when the other team have set pieces, he would have stopped that goal last night.
It's odd that when Tommy doesn't play some want him in and when he does play most want him dropped. £10 million???!!!???

Any reason why you’re stealing our chant lads?

We can't be stealing any chants from Man Utd because they never chant. Well not at Old Trafford they don't. Mouths too full of prawn sandwiches to sing.

Good results for us tonight.
Except in the Prem where huddersfield won so that's our record safe for another season.

Whats really funny is people seeing Chris Martin to the answer to all our goal scoring problems
He has 12 goals over the last three seasons and was only ever good for Derby when the whole team played to his strengths, which was worked out by eventually by every opposing team
