Worst fears been realised

January killed our hopes for this season.

Lost two players who featured and never replaced them.

No chance this team can win play offs, will get picked off.

Sad times

On a slightly more positive note, Harrison is starting to look like an excellent player. Shame he's not ours, but maybe a deal in the summer would be a good move.

There is many things wrong, soft goals conceded, too many chances missed, midfield not bossing, passing not up to scratch, some looking tired, and still lack the pace some others have. And when you don't replace players in January that you need. Then it's deja vu. How many times in the past few years have we been saying it at this point of the season ?. This defeat really hurts, hopefully it will give them all a kick up the kyber, and they respond. Otherwise all what they have achieved could be thrown away....But as the OP says, its a realisation this team is nowhere near premiership quality.

A realisation this squad is not prem quality?

Who ever thought any different?

Wrong again LIW
This could be my last chance to see us in the PL
It’s devastating for me, I just can see what’s happening.
Nothing would give me greater pleasure if I was wrong.

Bamford will come good he’s just rusty, he has missed a few sitters though.

WBA is now a must win and you wouldn’t be surprised if Wednesday got something against United in the derby....let’s see on Friday night

Rev, I’m just old
I do appreciate your concern.
These chances don’t come along too often.
Have to grab them.
That’s why I’m so angry we didn’t improve the squad in January.
Some blame Swansea, if I was running a business I wouldn’t blame anyone.
It’s imperative that you prepare for what happened and everything.
It was blatantly obvious that we needed to improve the squad.
Or maybe I’m wrong ?
No excuses in my world.

Blaming Swansea is just idiotic and a pathetic defence of the club.

We were the ones driving the transfer.

If they were f*cking around, then go out and sign somebody else.

The kid looks good, but he isn’t an established world beater. We tried to get a cheap deal and blew it, and possibly blew our auto chances with it.
