Get rid.
Not knee jerk. Lloris has been dodgy for a while now, we're not going to be spending 50 or 60m on a new keeper, so I think we need to start to play Gazzaniga regularly now.
Eriksen how many intercepted passes, dithering on the ball last night alone. The guys head is somewhere else.
Tripper enough said.

No chance in hell Levy is paying a 27 year old 200k a week.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then he leaves for way under his market value in the summer.
Another fine mess thanks to Levy's false economy.

Eriksen is easily worth £200k in today’s market

Nah. Not many players in world football on that kind of money.

Same old story. Lloris just needs one poor game in the last 1 or 2 months before he's classed as dodgy and in need of being sold.

It is most big games to be fair. He balls up something in most big games... It's ridiculous. For every 2-3 blinding saves he pulls, he makes a mistake costing us a goal.
He looked worried and nervy from the off yesterday and I simply cannot understand how a professional footballer can;t play a 20 yard pass with gifting it to the opposition.

no. his distribution has been awful since the moment he came. he makes big mistakes way too often (not all resulting in goals, admittedly), and general looks shakey.
he remains quick off his line though, but we don't play a high pressing game any more, so this isn't such a necessary attribute.

In fairness I think he's been much better in the Prem this season although his group stage cl performances were very iffy.
My conclusions are based on this season and the 3 previous ones and its good to see a few more on here starting to realise he's not good enough. In the modern game you've got to be comfortable with the ball at your feet and he never will be. Give Gaz a run he'll get the ball to Kane more often than Eriksen does these days.

"Most" big games is an exaggeration. He had been playing well for the last month or so and made some very good and important saves in that time. Yes his delivery is not great and it has never been.
We're not going to find much better, certainly with the lack of investment we put into the squad.

I get the frustration with Lloris but I'm not sure there is a significant improvement out there, not for a club with Spurs' ambitions. My club had been trying to replace Reina for years and in the end had to pay £66m for Alisson. Chelsea spent £72m on a keeper who seems incapable of following simple instructions!
There was a reason for those fees, most top keepers are at big clubs who have no desire to sell. Perhaps Spurs can uncover the next big thing and improve on Lloris but it's a gamble.
As for Eriksen, I totally understand the desire to cash in if he's not going to sign again. However, he's going to be a difficult man to replace. Despite his apparently mediocre season he's still second in the assist charts and has been one of the top assisters over the past 3/4 years. That creativity is so valuable.

We'll be replacing Eriksen with Grealish and hoping that he goes on to be as good.

Well that's an idea. Not necessarily a good one but it's certainly an idea!
