Palace..A
Spurs....H
Utd........A
Burnley. A
That's a make or break run right there, when they have those we have:
CFC......H
Cardiff..A
Huddersfield..H
Newcastle..A
That could be the title deciding run of fixtures...interesting eh.
Look at Citys run of games from Apr 14th

After Everton and Burnley, half our remaining 8 games are against (current) positions 17, 18, 19, 20. Can’t ask for a better run in tbf.

Current bottom 4... all fighting to stay in the PL.. safe, mid-table teams are easier

Absolutely no doubt at all it is better playing the mid table nothing to play for sides than playing the 17th 18th placed sides at this stage

Look at City's fixtures prior to April 14th
Bournemouth (A)
Watford (H)
Fulham (A)
Cardiff (H)
That's a guaranteed 12 points for them right there

You would think so but not necessarily. Anyone is capable of pulling off a surprise, that has already been shown. Especially with Fernandinho and Laporte missing. They just about scraped past West Ham.

Don’t agree they are at the bottom of the league for a reason . Also if they are playing for a win as some prob will be then we have a good chance as we struggle against teams that play 4 5 1 . They can’t do that if they need a goal

Could argue that playing a side fo gjting relegation could help us in terms of how they approach the game. Mid season a point v a top side is a good point to get so a team will set up accordingly and play a very low block and just hope to keep a team out and maybe Nick a goal from a break or a set piece.
But if they have to win to stay in the league they may have to open up and have a go which plays into our hands.
Not an exact science of course.

I do see the argument from both sides, I just can’t see how even a good Fulham/Cardiff can get anything out of the game. Maybe v Everton, Watford, Palace they can pull off a shock result but they look absolutely woeful otherwise.
