"Best manager for LUFC in my lifetime"

My 23yo son just messaged me to say that Bielsa is the best manager we have had in his lifetime.

And I put Bielsa well up there with the best managers in MY lifetime.

He stands alongside Revie, Wilko and O'Leary for me.

I never saw LUFC under Revie, I was not interested in watching football at that time, only playing, but I don't think anyone can knock him off the perch at the top.

Both Wilko and O'Leary were phenomenal and eventually faded out for different reasons, but I don't forget what they did for us to get us where we were in the first place through their managerial skills.

You never get anywhere with a mediocre manager. All hail Bielsa and his backup team!

He's defo a gem. I hope he stays multiple years because I agree he does stand nicely alongside those three.

Revie is still way out on his own. Bielsa has some way to go but certainly attracting cult status.

Revie's untouchable Stevie. We all know that.
Wilko is a clear second on the thronedom.
O'Leary was great.
Messiah has come along at the right time and could well sit or stand alongside the other three telling stories and being lauded for decades by us.

He is simply immense.

His comments after the game tonight regarding that photo of him looking glum after the qpr game were so Bielsa. Said he shouldnt have been so down after that game and isnt going to look too happy after this win 4-0 win tonight.

Whilst all fans are losing their heads and swinging from champions one week to write offs the next Bielsa just keeps ticking over. He has total belief in his players and has continued to play to his strengths throughout the season. No real Plan B - just stuck to his guns. Didnt panic through the injury situations and put his faith in the youngsters.

Darren Moore on the other hand picked an absolutely bizarre team. Anyone who watched that 4-1 win at the Hawthorns could see it was done with pace. Phillips and Barnes killed us. Incredible to see that instead of a 4-4-2 with quick wingers (montero and murphy available he went with 4-3-3 with Gayle on the wing. Then he put pedestrian players Livermore and Barry in midfield and a 6foot5 centre back at left back! Thought he helped us out tremendously

Fit for the bench. Could have started the game and brought him off once ahead.
