All these people that are pushing for jack clark to be rushed back need to take a second to think about the consequences, I tried to push through and carry on as normal when I had a virus at 23, continued training etc. I ended up collapsing and my body shut down, I spent the next 2 years bed bound, 12 years later and I’m still not fully recovered. I’ve never been able to play football since. Give the lad all the time he needs to recover.

It wasn't a virus but it wasn't a major health issue ie heart, it was something temporary and entirely avoidable.

Like misuse of illicit substances?

Marcelo provides an update on Jack Clarke: "He's well, he's fit. He will play next week in the #LUFC U23s game, and probably be available after this game to be with the group."

I doubt if anyone on this board knows anything different to that he had a virus.
