Jack Harrison

With the possible exception of Roofy, last night's line-up was the strongest we could field.

Alioski had one of his best games for the club and I would pick him for every game in that position. Douglas hasn't set the world alight at left back and we have seen little of his set piece prowess.

Forshaw offers options but I prefer the midfield duo of Kal and Klich so for me Forshaw only plays when one of those two are flagging.

But what of Jack Harrison? He isn't the best player we have ever seen out there on the left wing, doesn't get to the byline beating people for pace but somehow he is right for us now. He is a far better player than people give him credit for.

Come the summer, if he was given the option to stay on a permanent, I think he would, the guy looks so at home.

Would you sign him?

I would not sign him. Mentally he just seems a bit weak. Gets into good areas and wastes it more often than not. I want him driving at the last defender and absolutely smashing across the 6 yard area

He was superb yesterday.

He's worth signing for the right price. Still a young player who's going to improve under Guardiola or Bielsa. I like him, not a flash player, just quietly goes about his game.

Dont think he would be good enough in the Premier.
If he struggles to beat players at this level hes no chance at tier 1.

He's a slow burner who has improved steadily for us. He has a great attitude. Remember Roofe's first season? We should buy him.

He’s got better and better as the season has gone in and he’s got pace and trickery. Could turn into a very handy player.

Depends on the price. 5 million and I'd say sign him. If they ask for double figures then we can get better.

Think there’s probably more potential in Dan James.

Would look elsewhere

I would rather us get Jarrod Bowen than Dan James if I'm being honest.

Think the Dan James deal is dead in the water personally, if he is good enough for the Premier League then other teams will be having a look and the furore in January will have flagged him up to other teams. Think the shortness of his contract will perversely increase his value as other teams show an interest.
That said, Swansea will be working big time to keep him in the fold. We will not even put in a bid for the guy.
Bowen will be in the Premier League next year but I am not sure we will have the cash to bring him to ER.
