Trippier was an absolute disgrace today. What on earth does KWP have to do to get start?

Honestly? Respect your opinion a lot mate, but thought he was an embarrassment today (and that was the opinion of most fans I met today)

Iwobi turned him inside out at will, and you could see his confidence was shot. I really don't rate him in general but thought he was particularly bad today.

I’m no trippier fan ( been wanting to sell him since he was back up ) but over all I’d say a 6/10 game which is better than his recent performances.

Iwobi only dibbled past him twice today which is a big improvement than usual.

Put it this way we had worse performers than him today

Interesting. So, from my perspective (someone who really doesn't like Trippier) I spoke to a few mates who watched the game from various different vantage points and the consensus was he was terrible.

Even my mate who rates him said he was awful. Must admit I thought that was the consensus view, but fair enough if not

Defensively we have had a lot worse from trippier. 2nd half however, more so on the ball and attack wise he was pathetic

We have midfield and full back issues and they were the areas that needed improving last summer.

We have had lots of inconvinent squad disruptions which have stopped any momentum in the 2nd half of the season. Every team has their disruptions but being at the top with weak squad players it has hit us hard.

Just my opinion mate

Trippier was alright in the first half, and rubbish in the second. Unfortunately I think he's reached a stage with many Spurs fans whereby he could do 2 good things and one bad thing and the bad thing is what's going to resonate with them because there is the preconceived idea that he is going to be complete guff in every match.

Trippier is a limited full back, he has positives and negatives, against the better teams his weaknesses are too often exposed, we need a first choice RB who is capable against all opposition, Trips would still make a decent back up, likewise Aurier, but RB is an area we should look to improve on imo.
