For weeks, months even, I thought Kalvin P was our stand out player.
Now i'm feeling more inclined to vote for Liam C. Both have been outstanding and really consistent and both improved beyond where I thought they could.
I've always thought Liam was better than some gave him credit for - just a few rushes of sh11t to the brain, which he seems to have overcome, which could make him a liability. But he's been outstanding, both on and off the pitch this season.
Special mention for me to Alioski too. That guy, for whatever you think about him, just never stops. He must cover every inch of the pitch, numerous times, and just never stops running for 90+ minutes each game. Absolutely never stops trying.
Makes a refreshing change to have multiple players, including Roofe, all vying for that end of season accolade. Makes a change from having to select the least sh11t player in the squad to award it too !!!
Anyone else changing their mind?

Only player for me who’s been disappointing is Douglas
The rest have been outstanding

VOF literally been thinking the same.
But I must say looking at it logically right now it is surely Pablo who should be

LIW is spot on.Douglas has struggled this season at times. Whether it be the style Bielsa wants to play or just not getting a good run of performances and confidence I'm not sure.
Ayling has struggled at times as well. I'm a big fan of his and think he's worthy of the start but I do think he struggles at time with Bielsa ball. Sometimes he likes to slow the game down too much and take too much touches. Having said that he looked much sharper against WBA.

I get the shout for Pablo I really do, he’s our creative genius. But for me both on & off the pitch, it’s LC. Rarely puts a foot wrong.
All about opinions & I get the case totally for Pablo & Kalvin. All been outstanding.

I have recently come to the same conclusion. Listening to the Radio 5 podcast, I was amazed at how well Coop spoke.
He edges player of the season for me with KP being most improved.
Pablo blows hot and cold for me and our fortunes as a team seem proportional to his performances.
LC or KP for good performances consistently throughout the season for me!

Been disappointed with Ayling, I think he isn't the player we first signed, yes he's had a lot of time out with injuries but he was far better 2016/17 and hasn't come on with Bielsa. Douglas has never really shown anything. Rest of the lads top draw, any from 10 for player of the season. Young player will be interesting, Shacks, Clarke and Roberts in running.
