On Sunday Wolves make the journey to London to face Chelsea. In the reverse fixture on a cold December evening at Molineux, Wolves ran out 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota. The game marked the start of a return to form for Jota who scored his first goal of the season that evening. Jimenez and Jota have since developed a strong attacking partnership. Wolves go into this game on the back of an impressive home win over Cardiff with both Jimenez and Jota registering a goal each and an assist each.
Currently Jimenez has 11 goals and 6 assists, Jota has 6 goals and 3 assists.
Wolves will be without centre back Ryan Bennett who starts a 2 match suspension for picking up 10 yellow cards this season.

Currently in 6th place in the table, just one place but 13 points above Wolves, Chelsea have had some mixed results having won 3 and lost 3 of their last 6 league games, being beaten on penalties by Manchester City in the League Cup final and getting knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United. That home defeat by United led to the Chelsea fans giving Maurizio Sarri a torrid time with jeers and chants of
“You’re getting sacked in the morning".

Despite Chelsea’s less than comfortable win over manager-less Fulham on Sunday last, only the most optimistic and ardent Sarri supporters would predict that he will remain at the club until the end of the season.

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports

Gem’s prediction: 2-2

Best of all would be for Wolves to come away from Stamford Bridge with something tomorrow.
I don't want to go back to the Mick days when we relied on the teams around us to lose to help us along.

Yes a point tomorrow would be huge after the Watford result. Even a one goal defeat would leave us in an improved position compared to pre-weekend.

Depending on when the Arsenal game is re-arranged, Wolves next 4 games are Burnley (A), Man U (H), Southampton (A) and Brighton (H).
Watford's next 4 are Man U (H), Fulham (A), Arsenal (H) and Huddersfield (A)

So it is going to be very close in the run in to our meeting at Watford on 27th April.

Wet Bum sack their manager, apparently. 4th place. What a poor club.

Surprised at that. Hope they pay for their impatience
