Small Change...

Looks like we lost a bit of small change last year?

This is the kind of amount written off as an "accounting error" by our owners.

Meanwhile, things are so bad for our neighbours that their players are now paying the few fans they have left to attend the matches!!

They must have been delighted to get a free coach ride up to Leeds on a Friday night to watch their team get tonked 4-0

And immensely disappointed to then discover that there wasn't a similar ride back.

All over for West Birmingham and Vile.

Watch gates at West Birmingham fall to 12,000 next season. Such a pathetic little club.

Just been reading this analysis by Swiss Ramble:

Interesting though, had we not achieved promotion last season, this season would have been make or break in FFP terms. Had we not gone up after 18/19, I would assume 19/20 would have been a case of get on with what you have and/or selling in order to buy.

The investment has paid off though it seems and our turnover for this season will dwarf anything we've had before.

Interesting article Oldgold. 2 things jumped out in particular:

The huge increase in TV income, up fro £8m to over £128.

The dire straights Villa seem to be in.

that's £128 million of course,

£128 is what the baggies get
