Last nights result was probably one of the best ive seen in 35 years as a Utd fan, id say 99.9% of the population had us out before kick off... hell before a ball was even kicked at OT.
what impressed me more than anything was the desire of the players, even at 1-1 their heads didnt drop and they kept battling away.
looking at who is left can we really dare to dream of winning the CL this season?
the draw will have to be kind to be realistic but there is not one team left the competition that on form I dont think this Utd team could beat over 90 minutes.
Ole has the team playing with a belief and togetherness that we have not seen in years, and in players like Pogba, Rashford, Lukaku, Martial we actually have players who look like they could be match winners

I think Atletico or Barca will win the CL this season, it’s so good seeing us in the quarters though. First time in 5 years!

The only thing last night showed anyone was that Buffon has lost it and VAR has a long way to go. United fans think they're win was equivalent to Spurs and Ajax away wins.

In reality, I don't think we can. You can only get results like this every now and then.
It wouldn't surprise me if we drew Porto and got knocked out by them.
My hope is that the players are not totally flat on Sunday.

The best thing about Ole is that he has given us this feeling back. We're still outsiders IMO but you never know.
What could work in our favour, in a strange way, are the injuries we've had recently (meaning players who have played a lot getting a rest with results still staying good) as well as the fact we haven't run all that much for half a season.
After the international break we could be quite fresh.
I'd say at present though we have a punchers chance.

IrishRed suggested it yesterday when I was explaining my reasoning why we could (however unlikely) win.
I'll keep it until we're out of the CL.
