Looking forward to Arsenal finishing 4th, while we win the CL and Chelsea win the EL, meaning 4th place doesn’t get CL qualification.

We have trophies to concentrate on so were never going to put much effort into yesterday’s game.

Sorry but WTF has that to do with anything? You sound like the scousers banging on about stuff that happened years ago as you believe this gives you a free pass at failure in the future.

You may well win a trophy this season as may Arsenal. however, to suggest that yesterday didn't mean anything because you will win the CL is clearly cobblers

I didn't say it didn't mean anything and I didn't say we were going to win the CL did I? But it's definitely not impossible.

We are in the last 8 with Spurs, Ajax n Porto also there. Real Madrid, PSG n either Bayern/Liverpool won't be. It's definitely opening up for everyone still left in. Needs a lot of luck though to win the CL.

It wasn’t easy at all, I thought we edged it but on another day it could have gone the other way.

We could easily have scored 5 on another day and I can only remember Arsenal missing 1 chance and that was at 2-0 and the pen should never have been given and De Gea should never have been beaten for the 1st goal. It was probably the most dominant game we had at the Emirates but we lost.

Can't recall Arsenal even threatening us all game. Even 1st half early on it was just crossing it to no one was Arsenal first half. Man Utd should have been about 4-0 up 1st half.

Game could have finished 5-5, both teams had plenty of chances

I thought it was pretty even, but ultimately it doesn't matter,
I can remember going to Old Trafford and totally dominating but losing the game - it didn't help us afterwards and Utd gained confidence from the victory.
