Rennes Do It Again Against Caen!

Turning my attention to our next opponents, I thought I'd take a look at Rennes' result yesterday in Legue 1. Surprise surprise, history repeated its self as Caen took an early lead only to have a man sent off. Shortly there after, Rennes took control with Sarr running riot on the wing and Rennes scoring three goals. The match ending 3 - 1 to Rennes.

This is going to be a tough game for us. We are especially going to have to be on our mettle and keep eleven of our men on the pitch to have any hope of success. As you know a two nil results would suffice but I have a feeling that a 3 - 1 full time score line and penalties is more likely.

We will hammer them at home I hope our fans turn up in huge crowds and throw biscuits at Ben Arfa.

Rennes have two players back in their squad too: Traoré and Mbaye Niang. They were suspended last week.

Whilst we will be significantly weaker with the suspensions of Sokratis and Lacazette! This is not going to be easy.

Not overly fussed about that game. Even the first game I almost forgot we were playing it because I was just thinking of the united game. But after the embarrassment of the first game, it would be nice to get that off our backs and knock them out.

With our win yesterday we probably have a better chance of champions league by finishing in the top 4, rather than winning Europa. There’s some hard teams left in that competition, and our form away in that has been pretty dire. So can’t see us winning it. But probably good idea to keep that option alive in case we feck up top 4

Should be an enjoyable match to watch, as we have to score a few. But I also won’t be massively disappointed if we go out. Unless it’s to another embarrassing performance. There’s less riding on this game now.

I hope we smash the dirty cheats of a team.

Diving all over the place along with holding their faces after every tackle. Absolute hate team like that.
