Getting the same vibe from Erisken that I got from Walker at about this time in his last season with us.
Basically his performance levels dropped considerably to the extent where he was dropped from the team, including some big matches like FA Cup SF vs Chelsea.
Eriksen's form seems to be on a similar path. A player who usually covers the miles and has real quality in his passing. Both appear to be some % down on the usual.
Could be form....it's been a grueling season post a world cup summer but he was rested/injured in the autumn and eased back in.
He has played 2052 minutes which compares to the likes of Kante (2590) Jorginho (2397) Pogba (2289) B Silva (2288) Fernandinho (2173) Wijnaldum (2156) Matic (2117)
Son also looks out of sorts recently which again is probably just fatigue after a knackering season for him (1620 mins played), and we do not question his attitude.
So are we doing Eriksen a dis-service by questioning his commitment at this stage? or is whats happening inevitable ?
Deja Vu ?

Truth about this is that Spurs are going to go through a complete clean-out for next season.
Leaving or needed replacement:
Eriksen, Alderwiereld, Davies/Rose, Trippier/Aurier, Llorente, ...
and we might also add Vertonghen (age).
And that assumes none of Kane, Son, Delli Alli, Lamela ... want to move on!

Son's form seems to suffer when Kane is back in the side

That all might be true but its how much of the cash generated from that that gets reinvested in the team is the real question. Also is levy is gonna play silly bvggers as per usual and overvalue the above ?

VvD would leave Liverpool for Madrid tbf. He supported them as a boy and his family are not comfortable in a city that still resembles an L. S. Lowry painting.

He lived in Glasgow. Liverpool is like Venice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That is very true tbf.

Might be harsh on Glasgow and Liverpool. Isn't Venice a bit of a right off now? Still got the stunning architecture, cathedrals etc but completely ruined by too much tourism.

Son's form has been offset by Kane coming back more than anything else. No doubt about that. On a great run of goalscoring form prior to Kane, and now hasn't scored ever since Kane came back, and Kane has been our ONLY scorer.
