Only Shearer from the media is actually recognising how effective Kolasinac is, especially going forward whereas for others he is just a poor left back that can't defend. Usual rhetoric used by the press for Arsenal players.
Whereas someone like Luke Shaw has once decent game and he is deemed a world beater and lorded by everyone.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Kolasinac is the best overall LB in the league. Danny Rose and Robertson are probably the best all round left backs but as a wing back or left back in attack, is there anyone better than Kolasinac?
He is a constant threat and probably one of key players in attack.
Kolasinac best attacking LB in the league?

Kola has potential to be one of the best, power pace and delivery really set him apart from most. We'd have so many more points if him and Bellers were fit all season

Very happy with him. He is a beast and yes lacks defensive awareness at times. Think Emery gives him the freedom to concentrate more on the offensive side of the game than to defend.
We had too many players that get bullied all over. That aspect of the game has almost gone.

No mention of Digne who has a crazy number of assists or Mendy as well who clearly when fit is probs bet going forward although small sample size

I know stats aren't everything but Robertson does have 8 assists this season which is pretty insane for a defender who doesn't take set pieces.
To put that into context, Pogba, Eriksen and Sterling all have 9 each.

Digne has four assists, wouldn’t call that a crazy amount.

Tbf I thought it was more than that but he does have good delivery in general from crosses and set pieces. 3 goals on top of those 4 assists.
One poster said Robertson isn’t good going forward/he’s overrated because of one good ball? Nah he’s good going forward. He’s kinda like Carvajal or even Ashley Cole, maybe does nothing stand out but he has great stamina, does everything quickly, on the front foot. These kinda intangibles but just watch how he plays, how proactive he is on the ball and way he uses space. And does have a good cross.

Yeah he’s looked good going forward for Everton. It probably doesn’t help that their attackers are shiiiiit.
Robertson is excellent going forward. He’s been great this season. Klopp’s really worked wonders with him and TAA.
