Obviously good news re Zidane back at RM, meaning most of the natural suitors for Poch are dwindling fast (assuming OGS gets the United Job. Given the situation with Eriksen just thought it was interesting that most of us thought that Isco would be our number one choice if Eriksen were to leave (whether as a swap or straight cash should he go somewhere else. Worth noting that Isco played some of his best football under Zidane and was central to his plans. Not that I can ever see Bale back at Spurs but he was no more central in Zidane's RM than he was under Scolari.
Just wonder if this move changes anything re Eriksen's options.... Barca, Juve don't need him, RM will probably move for Hazard (given all the talk re ZZ), a move to PSG is only for the money only really leaving Bayern (in need of a rebuild (old squad), City (LT replacement for Silva ??) Or United (With Mata's age, they have no pure Number 10 (unless thats how you regard Pogba ?)
Maybe just maybe this is a game changer ? Id rather keep a motivated Eriksen than risk spending the money on the wrong option but given his form & indifferent attitude..... Is it too late ??
Bit speculative, I know but cant help thinking his future will likely determine what we have to spend/ how we rebuild this summer.
Maybe this news will settle things down at Spurs, Spec over Poch, Eriksen etc..... If you were levy do you go back to Eriksen now and put a better deal in front of him ? I think I would. Getting his head right now could have a huge impact on our chase for to p4 and the CL itself
Zidane Back @ RM.... Impact on Spurs
