Jimmy Floyd vs Diego

Which one did you think was the better striker for us in their time here?

And which one in their primes would you rather have playing for us now ?

Obviously you don't have to answer the same for each question

Loved Hasselbaink, even when he played for Atleti. Man, could he spank a shot.

He was a bit of a late bloomer, and there was also quite a number of tip-top strikers around at the time, but still I think it's slightly unfortunate that in his prime he never got a shot at playing for one of the truly elite sides of his day.

JFH Hands down, it's not even a debate for me!

Was there anywhere we couldn't score from?

Hasselbaink for me. I wouldn't consider either of them as top echelon elite strikers, but Jimmy was far more likable on a personal level.

Even at his best Costa was just a poor man's Drogba to me. Besides a desire to bully defenders he had nothing about him that was special, nothing where you thought 'only Diego can do that', Hasselbaink at least had his piledriver of a shot

JFH way better than Costa but Diego was there when we needed hin alone, back then when JFH wasnt scoring then Eidur Gudjohnsen was-what a partnership that was

Yup, it's difficult to think of many others that striked the ball quite as hard as he did. Alex was another one with a ballistic missile for a shot

And for the record nobody here has gone for Costa yet. Jimmy Floyd by a landslide victory then.

yep but my favourite striker for Chelsea was Hernan Crespo would love to have had him longer, he was dangerous with almost every touch of the ball.

Superb, he's up there with Roberto Carlos, Adriano & Hulk in terms of power striking a ball. Such a beautiful sight to watch

Yeah, I laugh when opposition fans label him a flop. Guy was phenomenal. Such a shame the personal issues he had while over here.
