Not sure why you're sorry. Cech has been done for a while which is why he is close to retiring.

I'm not saying that tonight could turn out to be Cech's last game in front of the Emirates crowd. I don't even want to imagine it. But dropping him would be a new level of cūntishness from the club.

He's been good enough to get us this far. Parachuting Leno into the competition at this stage is a sign of panic and weakness. A fact that won't be lost on tonight's opposition.

What are you implying that we throw away such an important match where we are 3-1 down just because we have to message Cech’s ego we need to win at all cost Cech won’t be a wise choice at this stage.

The choice is Emery's, at the end of the day. I suspect the upcoming international break might well play into his selections.

I'd still stick with Cech though. I thought he put in a decent show in the first leg.
