ramblings of a grey haired fox 🤦🏻‍♀️

Bit of a strange one this
Normally I'd happily plod along gasping like a fish out of water,
But it's been a strange 3 weeks
And also the first time I've been on my own for my birthday 🤷‍♀️

So the younger kids won't be over as they have bugs and are off to London Sat, as there grandparents are moving back to Lithuania after 20yrs, (edit --boys came for an over night, off to londonn from here)
The eldest boy is in Australia and my daughter is in theater today in Dublin for intestine operation,
It feels very weird indeed.

It's strange how, no matter how
Ill or disabled you are, you can always find people who are suffering more than yourself.
Sometimes we have to look inside ourselves and be greatful for what we do have,
all your limbs, an active mind, a sence of humour, freinds family ect
I've lost my train of thought,,,,
It's that no matter how bad it feels wether physically or mentally there is always hope??

So on that point, it's a deep breath ( OK a shallow one)
And onwards we go 😇

Black star I hope you've found the light!
Just hearing about New Zealand, auful news,
Forget comic relief donate some food to your local food bank instead

And celibate my birthday weekend as the rest of the world's Irish population do 🙄😉

Hey Dublin.

I’ve noticed that you’ve started to reach out to this forum more and more in recent times and I can’t help but worry that’s because you’ve found yourself more isolated in your own situation.

It sounds like you have a daily struggle with life but what keeps you going is your love of your family and the love you your football club.

Well, can I just say that this forum is an extended part of your family and your club. We might not know you in person but we know you as a leicester fan and we love to hear your posts and your views.

The same message goes out to BS. If we can help in anyway as a group of Leicester fans. Please ask. But otherwise just know that you can alway post messages here and we will listen. We appreciate you and all you contribute.

I'm feeling guilty at having put a glass of stout as a birthday celebration. Hopefully you are able to enjoy the odd glass of nectar given you take loads of medicine? If not apologies.

pretty much spot on,

the isolation of being semi house bound along with being stuck out in the shires has definitely had an effect,
i really felt dumped down here by the council the ex and boys are 16 miles away and my sister who cant drive is up in hinckley 70/miles away
living in sheltered bungalow with loads of oaps whom never venture out

obviously the health has not helped with the mobility and funds were crazy tight for a few years.
last year i got put into support with esa so started getting roughly £50 a week extra which ive been saving like crazy as well as living on the minimum possible to get an electric bed (hospital style) as ive spent the the last 2yrs sleeping in my electric recliner chair,
about a month ago i got the bed £1600
and dont sleep any longer but definitely sleep better,

i get 4hrs a day where im good and can do one job
hoover the house, tend the garden.walk to local co.op,
but life is always on catch up and becomes mondaine and depressive,

this week ive taken on a cleaner to come in twice a week and and a carer to shower me once a week
and once im over this current infestation should be able to do a few more things that i want to todo.

finances are ok
iim currently filling in forms for all my discounts, rent, tax, water,
ive to apply now too dwp for carers which i should be entitled to and will allow me to use my mobility money to get a car on there scyme

then i can have fun raising £18k for the 4x4 wheelchair

back to the original question

unfortunately there are few places on the interweb where you can have a rant or have a ramble due to all the posting rules or going off group topics
so this is one place where i feel safe to post the rambling of a mad man people are either supportive THANK YOU
or they just ignore it and again thank you

on wards and upwards
nothing like millions of irish celebrating your birthday weekend

boys are over cake has been consumed im very large quantities
all is good as it can be for now

Well we’ll always be here ready to talk all things Leicester City Dubs.

Think it will be a tough game against Burnley. They are fighting for their lives and Dyche has themverg organised. I’m going 1-1 but hoping we can pull off a better result.

I be happy with point today
But feel we will get them on the break as they can't really afford not to go for a win
Having said that they have some excellent headers of the ball and set peices will be our trouble
