Within minutes of our CL draw the

defeatist attitude of our supporters surfaced, the white flag hoisted. I cannot believe a lot of our supporters are saying Spurs have no chance. I mean whoever Spurs had drawn was not going to be easy. I think Spurs have a 50/50 chance of going through, it`s a two legged cup tie, Ajax just absolutely smashed Real Madrid, when nobody gave them a chance. The team is capable, just walloped Dortmund 4-0 over two legs, went to Barca and got a draw, beat Inter Milan, beat Real Madrid last year, drew at Juventus, so why would they be bothered about beating another Premiership side, who themselves have absolutely no pedigree in the CL themselves.

I am so looking forward to this tie, and I can see Spurs coming out on top over the two legs. COYS

This is beyond funny!!!!!!

Sandy you change like the wind. In 2019 you have been spurs most negative supporter from all the articles I've read.

All of a sudden you reckon you can beat one of the best team in europe over 2 legs ha. Any team who got city would of reacted like most your fans, they will breeze past spurs, another easy draw for city.

But for you to moan at others for what you have been preaching for weeks is pathetic.

Oh my God Sandy, are you for real mate? You've literally been saying for the last fortnight how Spurs have no chance of winning trophies under the current management.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have excluded the manager completely from my calculations, and am relying on the team. Oh and beating City in the QFinals would not equate to winning a trophy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny how you don't exclude the manager when Spurs lose. Confirmation bias at its finest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

When Spurs lose, that is usually down to the manager not having a clue how to pick his best team. Usually when Spurs win, the manager has zero input.

We always roll over against City. They'll hammer us over two legs.

I'd have honestly rather have drawn Barca.

That's our season over then

We used to be City’s bogey team as well.

We did for sure, but then they got a lot better and started winning things, and we stayed the same level!

Who knows. Stranger things have happened. But I have zero optimism for this tie.

Well we really don`t. Even since the lottery win, Spurs have beaten City from time to time, before the lottery win, it was pretty well a guaranteed home and away win for Spurs every season. Spurs certainly have a far better record against City, than against Liverpool and United. Much prefer to have been drawn against City than either of Liverpool and United.

I am super optimistic, playing at the new ground, with a proper atmosphere, bit like at Anfield last year, where City were supposed to blow Liverpool away, and the exact opposite happened. I have my doubts about City, when they play these sort of high pressure cup games, in front of a passionate opposition support, they tend to crumble, probably why they have never reached a CL final.
