Having seen Villarreal and Valencia this season toil against Rangers and Celtic respectively i wouldn't worry too much.

London final gets me going the most.

Imagine it becomes a play-off for the CL as well

Arsenal could finish 4th and in the Europa League final and still end up missing out on CL next season

Same is true about Chelsea, and similarly Spurs and United in the CL could be in the same position.

Yes. It would require one of them to finish outside the top 4, to win the CL and one of Arsenal or Chelsea to win the Europa and also finish outside the top 4.

Not the most likely of outcomes.

Funny how our expectations can change over 2-3 weeks.

Fack all that Top 4 bollox. It's all about finishing 3rd in the league now.

You were right, they would have to win it. But 2 of our last 3 CL winners had poor PL seasons - finishing 5th and 6th.

It’s not that I don’t think we can beat them, it’s just the effort it will take from the players in the middle of a very tough PL run in really won’t help.

Of course Chelsea have the luck of drawing a pub team that Giroud, RLC & CHO can continue to stat pad against while they keep the big boys fresh for the weekends.

On the plus side, I fancy us strongly against Valencia/Villarreal in the semis should we get there

Their front 3 will destroy our defence. Their midfield will own ours. The only hope that I'm holding onto is that maybe Koulibaly's reputation is all hype and Laca and Auba will expose him.
