So with the draw today seeing both teams with separate routes to the final, what a climax to the season each club could have.
Liverpool could win the league and champions league leaving City with neither or vice versa. Gut wrenching, unbearable pain for the losers and a LAL/LAMC fest on here.
Or they could finish with 1 a piece, which is nothing to be scoffed at.
Or most likely Ole and the lads will be the ones celebrating in Madrid this season, leaving the top clubs fighting out for 2nd best in the league.

It’s all relative tbh, finishing second in the league and losing a CL really wouldn’t be anywhere near as “painful” as most seasons I’ve had in my life being a city fan!

To be fair I never said that alone would be, but losing out on both to the same team you've been battling with wouldn't be great for the club.

If that happens its a great team and they deserve it anyway one that also happens to cost a few hundred million more than liverpools and lets be honest just because we came closest to beating them in that scenario doesnt erase the fact everyone else lost out to them too.
