With Spurs having to play Man City

three times in less a couple of weeks in April, sets the season up nicely now for a grandstand finish. Expect the players to up their game for these three matches. The Prem game will probably be lost, I just think City will want to wrap up the title as quickly as possible. The CL double header is another thing though, and over the two games, I can honestly see Spurs coming out on top.

I think in the first leg at the new WHL, Spurs fans can create a fantastic atmosphere, just like Liverpool fans did at Anfield last season, and build up a couple of goals lead, and then I think with Spurs great away form over the past two years in the CL, should be able to see the tie out at the Etihad. Man City do not seem to be able to handle high pressure CL knockout games in the CL, probably a reason why they have never ever reached a final.

Hoping to get a ticket, so anybody that doesn`t want to go, and has a spare ticket, if I cannot get one through the members application, please feel free to pass yours on to me, a proper supporter, and not one of the prawn sarnie brigade that will no doubt be in attendance for this massive CL tie.

So having a biased ref favoring Liverpool is now called 'throwing in the towel' ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ref boasted favouring Liverpool

They scored one goal and it came from a foul on VVD. We scored five.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Had the 2 'offside ' goals been allowed , as VAR would have shown, the game would have been totally different.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Liverpool were probably better overall but massively had the rub of the green. 5-1 was no way reflective.

I seem to remember Pool’s first goal at anfield was offside, also I think city should have had a pen near the end at anfield, and they would have had a second but for a bad offside call in the second leg.

Yes I agree 5-1 wasn't a fair reflection of the two legs but we outplayed them and whilst there were three dodgy decisions, two in our favour and one in theirs, we deserved the win.

There were no dodgy decisions in favour of City. 3 in favour of Pool. They did want it more though. No doubt of that.

Maybe dodgy means something different to you but I class a foul on VVD before your only goal, which wasn't given as dodgy.

If it was a foul it would have been given as one. Offisides were different.

They probably felt sorry for you with the thrashing and let you have one.

VAR will stop these injustices but Liverpool didn't vote for it. I wonder why?

Liverpool did vote for it. You wonder why they did? Perhaps this will explain it?
