Unai Emery & European endeavour

Lets be honest, Arsenal past how many years never had a chance at claiming CL. Especially with powerhouse loaded with 'once in a millennium players' running rampage in Messi and Ronaldo. Arsenal were there just to make up numbers and get thrashed by any decent side that was humiliating, a club run just to get into CL for money.

But now Arsenal after falling from its grace, the true rebuilding of Arsenal has began and I am highly impressed with Unai Emery...he has performed a astounding job in what is one of hardest transition for any club in this kind of situation just look at Man United, Chelsea etc. who even with massive money to throw at has not been able to salvage as much as Unai Emery has with pennies for him to use.

Getting back to the point I am actually excited at the prospect of Arsenal winning EL its not gonna be an easy ride and there are tough teams in the mix but Arsenal are in a tournament they are genuinely a contenders and not pretenders.

This is not a shade at Arsenal but our current transition from what was a great racer to a rusty car...into again into a great racer. And by looking at the performance of Unai Emery with such grime circumstance, I genuinely believe we have a World Class manager at our helm who will if given time and budget transform Arsenal similar to Kloop at Liverpool.

Exciting times ahead! Unai Emery

Can't see him taking you that much further than where he is now, 4th to 6th and Europa has been his natural level throughout his career and your shocking away record isn't a new thing for him, last season at Seville he didn't win away once.

However he could be a good buffer to you getting a top manager to make a serious assault at the top.

I think his ceiling is top 4 personally, which is why I wasn't too happy when we brought him in.

In hindsight, I do think he is a good "bridge" from Wenger to the next guy, whoever it may be.

Going by his performance against top teams with the thin bare squad, he defo has lot more potential than just top 4.

Most of his signings has been a HIT always good to see, makes great tactical strategic changes, isn't afraid to take risks. This man has everything necessary to be top manager...

I mean Wenger was managing Japanese league ffs.

You're ecstatic with Emery for top four and europa QF but was calling Wenger out for finishing second

The team was decaying and dying under Wenger and no progress, stagnant and outdated. Now Emery has refreshed the club little by little and is saving the sinking ship.

Wenger finished second by luck when during January Arsenal were ahead of the pack and best team to win the Prem. It was not only a bottle-job by Spurs but also Arsenal. The table without context hardly suggest anything.
