Can I just say that whatever happens this season, it's been an absolute pleasure to have experienced it with you all. We haven't seen such an emotional, heart pumping and under the spotlight term for nearly 20yrs.
We have as a group of fans, insulted each other, annoyed, filtered, reported and 1 starred one another. However we have also seen a title challenge with one another, a promotion push of epic proportions with one another and sadly mourned the loss of one of our own with one another.
Whatever happens, it's been one to remember.
24 points to play for, it's the final round and we need the knockout to win.
Let's see how we finish this.

Agree with all that.
But on a personal level, will be utterly depressing even if we get into play-offs. Don’t know why but if that were to happen by confidence will be at an all season low.
Still believe that there will be twists and turns to come yet. This 2 week break will feel like 2 months

TallAndUseless, I totally agree - it doesn't bear thinking how we are going to cope if we don't go up this time. I still echo Afridi14 there will be twists and turns, hope Sheff utd and Norwich start slippping up. We have reached a point of no return, we simply have to go up, otherwise I don't think we'll ever go up. As for playoffs, I have a feeling we won't succeed which would be typical of Leeds, when we need to win we don't, like last Saturday.

Op is spot on with the sentiments.
I don’t think we’ve not turned up to the big games. Football matches are usually decided on moments of brilliance or mistakes. If we’re guilty of anything it’s a lack of one and too many of the other. But really we’ve been short changed on luck for much of the season.
Funnily enough we got some at bramhall lane and none yesterday... though some of that was of our own making.

It's also weird that the 2 biggest games this season saw reverse scorelines. The 2nd against Blades being a goal due to a mistake at the back. Even Norwich was a self destruct game.
The season isn't over as many say and truth be told, 1 point of autos with 8 to go is not ideal within the context of the season, but we would've taken it in August.
Still got Roofe and Berra to come back and the rest will do us good. Blades will have the high of yesterday fade over the 2 weeks and quite possibly get caught out in their tricky fixtures.

Good thread Mike. This season has been great and whatever happens, it's the best we've had in years. Hopefully it counts for something.
I feel strangely calm after the game. Because it wasn't like Norwich were we just didn't perform or it was game over after half an hour. We actually played well yesterday and made the team in 3rd look very ordinary. If we keep playing how we have over the last 7 games, we will win most of our remaining 8 games. Also will be interesting to see how they react to being second. Always easier being the chasing pack, they've barely been in the top 2 all season, see how they deal with the pressure knowing they can't lose when they come back after the international break.

Imagine if all 3 teams win all of their remaining 8 fixtures.
How sickening would it be to finish with 97 points, a tally that has seen teams win the title with games to spare, and have it not be enough for top 2?

Yes can you imagine ending up with 97 pts and losing playoffs against the team in 6th which might have 85 pts or less, that's not right. Rules should be changed to top 3 up.

Actually best I thought we battered Norwich in the first half... second half a different story but 2/0 down and chasing the game. The difference in the Norwich and West Brom games was who scored first. That’s football.

None of the top three teams will win the 8 remaining games
