Alfredo Morelos has blamed "bad refereeing decisions that altered my temperament" for the spate of yellow and red cards the striker has received since joining Rangers from Helsinki.

And he probably believes heβs done no wrong!

It wisn'ae the obvious 'he's ony a boay' wan.
It was this - he looks like he comes from the Latino slums and
that's why he keeps getting targeted.
Memory is that it wisn'ae a Bear.
Maybe from England, Tayside or some other foreign parts.

You make a fair point TMQ. There’s been all sorts of excuses for why Morelos gets involved so often and has such a poor disciplinary record.
He doesn’t get protection from the refs.
He’s only young.
It’s racism (a personal favourite of mine).
He gets booted all over the place and is just protecting himself.
We even had at the start of the season that he wasn’t really a hot head .
The main reason is that he’s a fvcking roaster. He’s got undeniably a degree of talent-not to the level that some think, admittedly. And I wouldn’t deny he’s targeted by some of the opposition to wind up-but there’s probably a couple of reasons for that. Rangers are a fairly ordinary team without him (and I know they won a few games without him recently, but for bigger games, if he’s not on it, then gers are toothless), and also they know that he’ll react. Be it by diving (which a lot of players do, but maybe not to the same extent), or he’ll lose the rag and lash out.
If Gerrard and Morelos concentrated on his failings rather than trying to make excuses for him, he could improve significantly. As long as his behaviour is tolerated, and seemingly condoned, then he’ll continue to have his problems.

He’s a feckin loose cannon. It really is only a matter of time he stamps on a ref.

POV
I fear that he will not come to anything long term.
Which is a shame.
As you say he has a talent.
So did Andy Ritchie and he had a character flaw as well.
A fvkin lazy bastirt who wouldn't walk the length o hissel.
