Bale, with his wages, not to mention a probable hefty fee and dreadful injury record, would be a very risky move for anyone. Top player, no doubt, but not worth those wages, given the inevitability of injury. Not much resale value there either

Good
He's recently stated he had no intentions of leaving Madrid, expect Zidane's return to reaffirm that

No intention of earning less money elsewhere is probably the long and short of it.

Bale and Sneijder have been close to joining for the last 10 years.

Not getting into how very useful he would have been at a time when the club were dicking about with deadbeats like rafael, januzaj, cleverly and welbeck ...
...... but way too late now

Can't take the risk on him. His injuries are only going to get worse not better. When fit he'd be our best player but for the other 30 games a season what would we do?
Don't think he can come back to the PL now. Wages too high for someone to take that risk.

He's a busted flush. Waste of money

If he didn't have his injury record, looked after himself like Ronaldo, I'd get him.
